As Certus continues to grow, we’re excited to strengthen our team. That’s why we’re pleased to introduce Remy Wiersma, who recently joined us as Customer Success Engineer.

Remy brings over 20 years of experience in the data erasure industry. He started his career on the operational side within IT asset disposition and later moved into the software side of data wiping. This combination of hands-on experience and technical expertise makes him a strong partner for our customers.

In his role at Certus, Remy focuses on guiding new customers through the onboarding process and helping existing customers optimize their workflows. From delivering demos to providing technical support and training, he ensures customers get the most out of our software. His goal is simple: happy customers who work efficiently and securely.

What attracted Remy to Certus is the combination of a mature product, a clear vision, and the opportunity to play a connecting role between sales, technology, and customers. “It feels great to be part of a team where you can truly make an impact,” says Remy.

With his extensive background, Remy also has a clear view of the challenges within the industry today. One of the biggest hurdles, he explains, is awareness. Many organizations still underestimate the importance of certified data erasure or rely on outdated methods. Educating the market and helping companies understand that secure, certified data erasure is both accessible and essential remains a key focus.

Outside of work, Remy enjoys spending time with his family. As a father of twins, he values balance and prefers being outdoors, whether that’s at the beach, in the forest, or by the water when he finds a moment to go fishing.

With his experience and customer-focused mindset, we’re confident Remy will play an important role in supporting our customers and contributing to the continued growth of Certus.
